The Educator in Residence Programme is a valuable new initiative designed to highlight the achievements of Bahamian educators through the sharing of knowledge, research, published works, and professional experiences. The main objective of this program is to leverage the expertise of experienced educators to support professional development, foster collaboration, and enhance the overall educational experience in our country.

Key features of the program include:

  • Professional Development: Opportunities for educators to engage in continuous learning and skill enhancement.

  • Collaborative Engagement: Fostering a network of educators to share best practices and innovative teaching strategies.

  • Public Sharing of Data and Research: Facilitating the dissemination of valuable research findings and insights to the broader educational community.

  • Promotion of Professionalism: Elevating the standards of the education field through the exchange of expertise and evidence-based practices.
